Al Capone

Al Capone was born January 17,1899. Grew up in New York, and was part of two kid gangs, Brooklyn Rippers and Forty Thieves Juniors. He got the nickname "scare face" when he was attacked by a patrons brother. Capones first arrest was for disorderly conduct. He murdered two men but was never charged. Moved to Chicago in 1919. He was in controll of speakeasies, bookie joints, gambling houses, brotheles, horse and race tracks, night clubs, disterilleries, and breweries, made 100,000,000 a year. He was skillful at killing his enemies when they were too powerful. Had a violent temper,loyalty, and honer.One of his most outstanding killing was the St. Valentine's Day. Capone had the police scared of him he was never tried for any of his crimes and he also bribed them. January 21, 1947 he had a stroke that killed him 4 days later.

St. Valentine's Day Massacre
St. Valentine's Day Massacre was on Feburary 14, 1929. This was between the Italian South side gang ran by Al Copone and the Irish North side gang ran by Geroge 'Bugs' Morgan. The Elgan Rat's gang was also suspected to play a big role helping Al Copone and his gang. There was suposesed to be a meating between the Morgan gang and Detroits Purple gang for a supply of wisky and the purple gang was close associates with the Copone gang. They planed to lure in 'Bugs' Morgan to kill home because of the Morgan gang had tanken over many of Copone's saloons and Copone had to teach him a lesson. Members of the Copone gang had lined up the members of the Morgan gang up on the wall facing the way so there backs were toward the Copone gang members and shot them with tommys and two shot guns.
